these pics are from yesterday's birding therapy. we went to the heron rookery, where 30-40 herons make their nests. unfortunately, the babies were only visible through the binoculars. they didn't come out well in pictures.

I love how the goselings waddle with their heads pushed forward. they always look like they're about to tip over.
