owl pellet
when we were in corpus christi, Hugsband found this owl pellet. when he examined its contents, he found a rodent skull and other assorted bones.

You'll probably think I'm joking (poorly and nonsensically), but my job coincidentally necessitated me purchasing an order of 75 owl pellets from Carolina Biological Supply Company just this morning.
I was once able to completely reconstruct an entire mole skull and about 85% of its body from one pellet. Which was exciting at the time.
