this "costume" caused one 6-year old trick or treater to run and get her mother (a physician) to "come and help this hurt man".
in all we had approximately 4 million kids. we went through 8 bags of candy by 7:30 and had to turn off the porch light.

Aren't the sanctioned trick or treat hours between 12:00 and 2:30 anyway? Seems like you went way over the limit.
that's the thing- there are no real hours in new haven. kids were showing up from, like, 5pm until very late.
There are no real hours in Chicago, either. Weird. I don't want kids out till 1 am looking for candy and/or trouble.

Yeah? Well, the kids these days scare me. I came home one day and saw a group of kids chasing each other with those fake guns that making poping sounds. One kid said the N-word while "shooting" someone. That kid was as white as I am.
I'm just bothered by those things.
